Lillian May Wright, 84, of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2016 at the Isabella County Medical Care Facility.  Lillian was born on May 31, 1931 in Harrison, the daughter of George and Bertha Jane (March) Vollmer.  In October 1, 1950, she married Harold Wright.

     Lillian was a home maker who enjoyed watching old movies and spending time with her grandchildren.  She enjoyed attending the Weidman Senior Center and was a member of the Red Hat Striders.

     Survivors include her children:  Robert (Karen) Wright of Remus, Harry (friend Chris) Wright of Florida, Harold (Candy) Wright of Mt. Pleasant, Ronald (financee’ Frances) Wright of Mt. Pleasant, David (Kathy Brzak) Wright of Shepherd, Jacob (Betty) Wright of Beaverton, Gary Wright of Mt. Pleasant, Betty (Preston) Anderson of Panama City, Florida, Madge (Frank) Schmid of Farwell, Barbara (Rick) Choryan of Caledonia, Michigan and Bertha (Larry) Brooks of Columbus, Mississippi.  Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.  Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, six brothers:  Walter, Jake, Robert, Gene, Fred and Marshall and five sisters:  Florence, Georgia, Ruby, Lula and Ruth.

     A celebration of Lillian’s life will take place on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Rowley Funeral Home with Chaplain Larry Brooks officiating.  Interment will follow the funeral service in Kelly Cemetery, Greendale Township, Midland County.  Friends and family will gather on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions have been suggested to the Isabella County Medical Care Facility activity fund or to the family.  Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
